I am the definition of an uptight dog parent, yet I travel literally all of the time! Meeting Keren several years ago when my sweet Dolce was still with us has proven again and again to be a lifesaver. The best part of leaving your pet with Keren is that they welcome your loved one into their family and quite quickly your pet assimilates as part of their pack! My Dolce loved it and now Rarity, a high spirited, young Weimaraner, loves them too. Dog park runs, lying on the couch by the fireplace at night, reading with her young ones, and the loving hugs of young boys made my Rare-bear so happy! Wonderful family and a loving, dependable home away from home!

Our dog loves Keren and her crew. She’s just as excited when we get Keren’s house as she is when we get to the dog park. Keren sends us videos and pictures of our dog who comes home tired from her adventures. We send our dog a few times a
week and her socialization and time with Keren has resulted a better behaved and well mannered pet.

Keren is awesome. Our Toby is an old dog of 15 and she helps him be active as he can be. He loves his walks and meetings new friends. She and her staff are very attentive to his needs and he gets lots of love. Definitely a great place for your dogs.

Keren was a wonderful caretaker for our baby Boo. Unfortunately we had a last minute trip come up, and Keren was very accommodating. This was our first time boarding Boo so we were very nervous, Keren gave us great updates and sent lots of photos and videos to ease our mind. Great experience!

I found Keren through a search on Yelp and was very impressed with her service. Took my dog to both a dog run and the beach in one afternoon. She’s a very pleasant person to work with and his really well worth it in a market where doggie daycare can be hit-or-miss. Thanks Karen!!

Keren is thorough and professional with her service! Upon meeting my lab she took her through simple steps to acclimate and make her feel comfortable in her surroundings! She asked lots of questions and made sure she had all the information needed to make my puppy and me feel welcome and less stress for the first time! When I picked up my puppy she was happy and had bonded with Keren and her children! My pup was tired and slept all the way home and throughout the evening! I would highly recommend Keren and plan on using her service if we go on vacation! I wouldn’t worry about my sweet lab while she is in Keren’s hands!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Keren. The first thing that comes to mind is her professionalism and flexibility.

Leaving the girls was one the hardest things we ever had do, but since Keren is such a wonderful and loving dog sitter we were at ease. With our wedding ceremony this past weekend, she brought our girls in advance of the picture taking to ensure the girls were there that special moment.

Keren is a great host. She was able to accomodate Sam the last minute. Very professional, well trained and prepared especially to dogs with issues. I am so happy that Sam had a wonderful time staying in her home and he was taken good care of. I will definitely be bringing back Sam again.

Keren is fantastic! Her home is such a wonderful place for a dog to stay, and she was a complete professional from first contact until we picked up our Callie. Our pup seemed very happy at the end of the day, and we got great feedback about how she did. I think it would be really hard to find a better sitter on Rover than Keren!

Keren boarded our large dog for the first time a few days ago. We couldn’t be happier. Keren and her family took her right in and made her part of their family. She sent numerous videos starring our “pup,” making our days without her much more bearable. The videos were fun to watch, and the care that her entire family took of her was great to see. They all love their guests. We’ll be back, that’s for sure.

Keren was an amazing host! Thank you so much for the daily photos and videos of Harley on the beach, in the yard playing with the pups, snuggling with the family, walking thru the trails…everything! Keren did such an incredible job with Harley! Treated her like she was one of her own dogs! My dog will definitely be going back to stay with Keren every time I’m out of town!

We have left our dog, Jack, with Keren a couple times now. I feel very comfortable leaving him there and I’m pretty sure he loves it too. He’s never nervous when we get there—a noticeable difference from other places he’s stayed. I’m so glad we found Jack’s Home Away From Home!

Fifteen days.  We’d never been away from Max, our lab, even close to that time!  I actually got teary when we dropped him off.  Yet from the first time we met Keren, my husband and I knew Max would be in good hands.  Keren is a warm, welcoming person.  Her children are so polite and friendly!  Keren actually sent us videos of Max playing at the dog park and the beach.  We were afraid he wouldn’t want to come home!  It was absolutely wonderful to come home from a long trip to find Max happy and healthy.  I can’t recommend Keren enough!

My 2 dogs just boarded with Keren for 5 nights.  I couldn’t be happier.  I’ve just officially retired from running my own boarding kennel in Washington state so I know a thing or two about the business.  Keren is doing a wonderful job!  The fact that my very skittish, high maintenance Chinese Crested ate ALL his meals says a lot just in itself!  Keren sent frequent photos and videos which I think is a real plus especially when they are at a kennel for the first time.  My dogs got lots of exercise.  They were happy to see me when I picked them up but clearly not stressed or anxious to leave!  Thank you to Keren.  For those of you considering boarding with her, don’t hesitate!  Her place is clean, the dogs are cared for beyond well, and there are only a few at a time so they get lots of attention!

I selected Home Away from Home because I was drawn to the idea of our dogs living with the family in their own home.  Our great dane, Bella, is recovering from abdominal surgery, so we didn’t want her stressed in a kennel.  After our initial meeting with Keren and seeing how organized and clean her house is, it was a no-brainer that we could trust our dogs with her.  Bella and Duke met her family, her dog, and a couple of other boarders at the introduction.

I would recommend Home Away from Home to anyone who loves their dogs and wants them to be in a friendly and caring, home environment when they need to be boarded.  Thank you, Keren, we’ll be calling again!
